Celtic beat Aberdeen today to win their eighth successive Scottish Premiership title.
Mikael Lustig, Jozo Simunovic and Odsonne Edouard scored to secure a 3-0 victory at Pittodrie and hand the Hoops yet another league crown.
Rangers have provided a challenge this season to Celtic’s recent dominance but they couldn’t sustain a title tilt and Celtic have won it again to close the gap between the two Scottish giants.
Celtic manager Neil Lennon: “I’m proud of them and the back room team who’ve helped me along the way.
“I’m very lucky to have worked with this group who have been solid all season.
“It’s been really tough, toughest piece of management I’ve had to do, as it has been difficult coming in to the club but the players helped me and I like to think I’ve helped them. It’s been really special.”
