Suarez did not hold back
The Uruguayan spent three years at Anfield, making over 100 appearances and becoming a cult hero, but that didn’t hold him back.
Despite not scoring in the Champions League for over a year, he ended his drought by sliding onto Jordi Alba’s inch-perfect cross to give Barcelona the lead at the Nou Camp.
Liverpool fans stood by Suarez through various controversies, including alleged racism after an incident involving former Manchester United defender Patrice Evra.

But the striker, speaking before the game, said there can be no room for sentiment on such a big stage.
He told the Daily Mail: â€Å“In the build up to the game it’s nice to talk about how massively grateful I am to Liverpool for all they gave me but, you know me, once I’m on the pitch there will be no friendships, no companions, no thought for all the lovely moments.
