Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp insists his players can do no more to win a first Premier League title in 29 years.
Divock Origi scored four minutes from time to secure a 3-2 win over Newcastle on Saturday, which saw the Reds leapfrog Manchester City into top spot.
Liverpool could end the season on 97 points and still finish second if City win their remaining games against Leicester and Brighton.
Klopp said: “I’m not native, so I cannot maybe say it better, but I accepted long ago that we do everything, absolutely everything, the boys throw whatever they have on the pitch.
“That means whether we will be champion or not, it’s destiny. We do everything, we cannot do more.
“Can you get more than 94 points? Not really.
â€Å“The boys tried everything, even when we had the draws they tried everything to win the game. It’s all good.”
Liverpool took the lead twice thanks to goals from Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah.
But Christian Atsu and Salomon Rondon strikes on either side of half-time had the game level before Origi headed in a late winner from Xherdan Shaqiri̢۪s free-kick.
City will have the chance to return to the summit of the table when they face Leicester on Monday night.
Klopp added: â€Å“Credit to Newcastle, that was – wow!

“Is there any history between Newcastle and Liverpool that I don’t know about? The atmosphere was like something happened in the past.
â€Å“The boys again were ready to face it and ready to deal with it, and that’s brilliant.”
