Callum Hudson-Odoi to be offered Eden Hazard’s No. 10 shirt in a bid to keep him at Chelsea

Chelsea are set to offer Callum Hudson-Odoi the No.10 shirt which could be left vacant by Eden Hazard this summer.

According to the Daily Mail, Hazard has reportedly agreed terms with Real Madrid, but a fee is yet to be resolved, with the La Liga side still well below Chelsea’s asking price of £100million for the Belgian.

Hudson-Odoi, 18, is currently sidelined after rupturing his Achilles against Burnley and will only consider singing a long-term deal if Chelsea show they are willing to build the team around him in the near future.

A ruptured Achilles can require up to nine months of recovery – and he is already facing a race against time to be fit for the start of next season.

The winger was the subject of four separate bids from Bayern Munich in January and they also added the incentive of the No. 10 shirt, which had been worn by former Blue Arjen Robben, who played his final game for Bayern on Saturday.
