Keita, who was forced off with a groin injury during last week’s first leg at Camp Nou, shared an Instagram story of himself screaming with joy as he ripped off his recovery pad.

The Guinean has been ruled out for two months and will miss the Champions League final against Tottenham or Ajax. He is also a huge doubt for his country’s Africa Cup of Nations campaign this summer.

His setback came as a blow to Jurgen Klopp’s side as the 24-year-old was beginning to find his feet in England after his £52million move from RB Leipzig, netting three goals in six games.
