Mesut Ozil and Unai Emery don’t seem to like each other.
However, during Arsenal’s 1-0 defeat at Everton on Sunday, it appears the German had it in for Emery’s opposite number – Toffees boss Marco Silva.
As the Gunners pushed for an equaliser following Phil Jagielka’s early strike, Gunners boss Emery hauled the playmaker off in the 74th minute.
Ozil, who actually captained the Gunners at the start of the game, reluctantly trudged off, naturally disappointed at having his game cut short but what he did when he sat down was shocking.
He sat on the bench and as Emery and Silva became embroiled in a heated discussion on the touchline, Ozil appeared to launch the coat in the direction of Silva.
The jacket did not hit Silva or the Arsenal boss as neither reacted to Ozil’s actions.
However, this latest move by Ozil could land him in very hot water internally. Below you can see footage of the shocking incident.
