The Chelsea forward has long been a target for the LaLiga giants and speculation has grown in recent weeks concerning his impending departure.

Zinedine Zidane wants to overhaul his Madrid squad in the summer and it is understood Hazard is the France legend’s number one target.
The 28-year-old will soon have just a year left on his contract and will reportedly reject any new deal Chelsea offer him.

Spanish newspaper AS report, via Sport Witness, that Hazard could ‘consider a transfer request’ should the two clubs fail to reach an agreement over the fee.
Marina Granovskaia, director of Chelsea, remains hopeful of keeping the Belgian international, but could sell for a fee of around £98million.

Should any transfer be blocked over the summer then it is likely that Hazard will sign a pre-contract agreement with Madrid in January 2020.
The Blues are unlikely to be able to spend any money they get for the player as they are facing a transfer ban, however. They have appealed UEFA’s decision but have yet to learn if the ban will be delayed, which would allow them to sign players this summer.
