Liverpool 2020/21 kits: Awesome concept designs will have Reds fans excited about possible Nike deal

Earlier this week it was reported Liverpool are in advanced talks with Nike over a kit deal from 2020/21 onwards.


The Reds currently have a deal with manufacturer New Balance, but that expires next summer meaning next season’s effort will be there last.

It’s believed the backroom staff at Anfield have spoken to several firms about the possibility of taking over from the American company.


Nike, though, seem to be in the driving seat and it could see them agree a UK-record kit deal.


The current biggest is Manchester United’s £750million deal with adidas, agreed in 2014, while the world record is Barcelona’s £100million contract with Nike.


And with the news of their ‘advanced talks’ with Liverpool, concept kit designers on Instagram have been busy giving fans a possible glimpse of the designs they could get in the future. You can see two of the best below.

Overall, I love what NB have done with our kits. I mean I don't know how they plan on topping the home kits from last year. Though I do wish they wouldn't use such bold colors for our away and third kits. I've always loved minimalistic designs. My personal fav away kit was 10/11(??) kits. All white with the red pin stripes. Those were beauties.
