Mauro Icardi has not been featured in Inter’s kit launch for the 2019/20 season fuelling speculation he could be on his way out of the club.
In the club’s first official images of their new shirt, Inter‘s star striker and former captain is nowhere to be seen.
Instead, Milan Skriniar, Matteo Poliltano and Lautaro Martinez were among those to join the women’s team in modelling the new look.
He had captained Inter since the start of the 2015/16 season, but the club confirmed in February the armband was taken away from him and given to long-serving goalkeeper Samir Handanovic.

The dispute is believed to have started over an ongoing contract dispute, with the striker’s deal set to end in 2021.
His agent, Wanda Nara, claimed the Serie A giants have not offered him a new deal, with reports suggesting the Nerazzurri hierarchy are stalling on the £170,000-a-week wage demands.
Icardi, who has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United, has had a turbulent season. He scored just 11 league goals, his lowest total in five seasons, fell out with the fans, has been left out of match day squads and last month was accused by his manager, Luciano Spalletti of humiliating the club.
Spalletti said: “To have to negotiate with a player to get him to play and wear the Inter shirt is humiliating, for the fans and his team-mates.
“Do I have to email his lawyers before I can select him?
“Today, Mauro Icardi had to be left out because of the way he has behaved, it’s only fair that the others play. It’s a question of credibility.
“You must have respect and the right behaviour in the dressing room.
“The coach must be credible and recognised as someone who will do the right thing.”
Last week, Icardi posted a message on Instagram, insisting he wants to remain with Inter, despite speculation he will leave, with Juventus the latest link.
He wrote: “Since the press has recently reported news that does not reflect my thoughts and my will, I want to inform our fans that I have repeatedly informed the club of my intention to stay at Inter.
“Thus from now on no misunderstandings of any kind will be created.
“I understand the interests of the press to sell false news but more than clarify things personally I can’t do.
“I repeat: I have already expressed to Inter the will to stay because Inter is my family.
“Time will tell who told the truth. Forza Inter, always.”
According to Tuttosport, Juventus want Icardi at the club to partner Cristiano Ronaldo, as they aim to conquer the Champions League and there are concerns over the fitness and long-term future of Mario Mandzukic.
The Croatian striker missed 15 matches last season with a foot injury and this has put his role in doubt, despite signing a contract extension until 2021.
Icardi has also been left out of Argentina’s 23-man squad for this summer’s Copa America by manager Lionel Scaloni.
Inter are set for another season in the Champions League and a win over 17th-placed Empoli on the final day of the Serie A season will be enough to secure their qualification.
They will debut their new kit on in the game and it has divided fans due to the diagonal chest pattern, a contrast to the usually consistent horizontal stripes the club is famous for.
