Manchester City vs Cardiff under-23s has been advertised in Manchester following Neil Warnock’s comments at the weekend.
The Bluebirds boss has threatened to play his under-23s against Pep Guardiola’s side on Wednesday.
Warnock was incensed after refereeing decisions went against his side in their 2-1 defeat to Chelsea.

An offside goal saw the Blues level the match to 1-1 with six minutes left and Ruben Loftus-Cheek punished Cardiff further in stoppage time.
Warnock blasted Premier League officials as ‘the worst in the world’ and went on to suggest that he may field the kids against Man City ahead of next weekend’s visit to relegation rivals Burnley.
It seems Transport for Greater Manchester have seen the funny side to Warnock’s comments – and have been preparing road users for just that.
On an electronic traffic information board, the fixture of ‘Manchester City v Cardiff U23s’ was advertised and told people to expect delays.
